Fabián Ruiz is still dazzling with La Roja. Author of two goals in Spain’s victory (4-1) against Switzerland, in the Nations League this Sunday, the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder shone again under the orders of Luis De la Fuente. The Spain coach did not hesitate to praise Fabián’s merits.“For me, he is one of, if not the best player in the world in his position. I am not surprised by his level.”explained the 63-year-old technician in a post-match press conference.

Already huge during the Euro won by Spain this summer, the former Neapolitan delivered two new major performances during this international break against Serbia and Switzerland. Very little used with Paris Saint-Germain at the start of the season, the 28-year-old midfielder continues to make an impression with La Roja, where he is an undisputed starter in De la Fuente’s system. Enough to make Luis Enrique think a week before the return of Ligue 1? To be continued…
