Luis Enrique might not last forever in his position as coach of Paris SG.

For several days, Luis Enrique has continued to affirm that he is already preparing the upcoming campaign with PSG. However, it is not 100% certain that he will be in charge of the Ile-de-France team in 2024/2025. He can be disembarked by his management or leave on his own.

According to the latest rumors coming from Spain, there is a possibility that the Asturian technician will return to Barcelona during the next off-season. Deco, the sporting director, would be thinking of him to succeed Xavi. The latter no longer controls much in Catalonia and this was again verified on Sunday evening.

Deco dreams of bringing Luis Enrique back to Barcelona

Luis Enrique left very good memories at Barcelona. Between 2014 and 2017, he guided the Blaugrana to nine titles. He is also the last coach to have offered a Champions League to this club. It was in 2015 against Juventus. Only Pep Guardiola has a better record than him at 21e century with this training.

Seeing Luis Enrique leave everything behind and return to Spain would still be quite a surprise. In his speech, he in no way suggests a desire for a change of scenery. Quite the contrary. It seems to be established over the long term in the French capital. And when he speaks “of a team that will be stronger next season” it is certainly not to abandon it to any successor.
