Luis Enrique was very direct and very frank regarding the future of Kylian Mbappé. Asked at a press conference about the documentary devoted to the French international in the show Correspondent Thursday evening, the Spanish technician hardly seemed interested, any more than for his future as his contract expires at the end of the season.

“I haven’t seen the documentary, I don’t watch TV, only football. It’s life for your future”, he simply declared. The former Barça coach, however, was much more concerned about the state of the pitch at the Stade de la Source in Orléans for the Coupe de France match this Saturday. The match had in fact been threatened due to the presence of pieces of glass on the pitch, the new pitch was still being installed on Thursday. “It’s a strange and very different situation. If all circumstances were normal, it would be an opportunity to rotate but because of the pitch in particular, I will decide who will play after seeing the state of the pitch. We’re not going to take any risks. There are many possible changes”he regretted.
