Kylian Mbappé was the star of Paris Saint-Germain in their 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad on Tuesday, a result which gave them a 4-1 aggregate victory.

The 24-year-old, playing on Spanish soil for the first time this season, scored both goals for the French champions, which proved to be his trademark. He also scored three of the four goals scored by PSG during this double confrontation, which means he made the difference.

The Bondynois has continued to play at an incredibly high level despite intense speculation about his future. It was widely reported that he would leave PSG at the end of the season, when his contract expired, and that Real Madrid would be his likely destination.

“His future will not be here”

Although there has been no official confirmation yet, it appears to be the case. Even PSG coach Luis Enrique seems to believe it, as he told Canal+ after the final whistle of Donostia-San Sebastian.

“Apparently his immediate future will not be here, which is why we will have to do tests with other teammates. Kylian I’m not finding out today! You know my opinion: it’s number 1 in the world. He will score 50 goals, 25 assists in a row with any coach, any team.” We do not yet know when Mbappé will announce his future plans. As of now, an agreement with Real Madrid has not been reached, but everything is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
