This Thursday evening, Luis Enrique spoke at length during a live on the Twitch platform where he did not hesitate to answer the various questions from Internet users without filter.

The Spanish coach spoke on several subjects concerning him and his adventure at Paris Saint-Germain. The former La Roja coach also spoke about the Xavi Simons file. The Dutch midfielder is on fire at RB Leipzig where he is on loan until the end of the season from the Parisian club.

The current PSG coach was very complimentary towards the number 20 of the RBL and admitted that he would like to see him join the squad next season.

“Another player who belongs to the club, who is on loan and who is doing wonders. He is one of the best at his club, he has the ideal qualities for our playing ideas. It could be a very good option for us, but it depends on the clubs,” did he declare.

Xavi Simons can decide his future

The Xavi Simons file is quite complex. Linked with PSG until June 2027, Xavi Simons should in principle return to the capital this summer. However, this Friday, the newspaper l'Équipe suggests that the Dutch international has a clause in his contract which allows him to have control over his future.

For the moment, nothing has been decided yet. Two things matter to him: playing the Champions League every season and having significant playing time to continue his progress.
