Despite sometimes controversial choices and a strong character, Luis Enrique is spectacularly acclaimed by the French.

According to an Odoxa survey carried out for Winamax and RTL on French people and Ligue 1 coaches, Luis Enrique comes top of the coaches most appreciated by the general public.

The PSG strategist, despite taking inflexible and not always understood positions, won 25% of the votes cast – compared to 19% won in favor of the experienced Marseille technician Jean-Louis Gasset and 17% in favor of Lens manager Franck Haise .

Gasset, three months and then leaves?

77% of respondents consider that Luis Enrique is THE coach that PSG needed – no less than 73% of French people who spoke on the subject judging the Parisians’ season already successful.

As for Jean-Louis Gasset, despite a certain popularity rating, 53% of OM supporters would like him to leave the club at the end of the season in favor of a coach of greater renown. Overall, 57% of French people believe that experienced technicians are more reliable. 57% also think that it is good to favor French strategists in Ligue 1.
