Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is in red hot form and will be on the hunt to score for the sixth consecutive Premier League game later today.

The 21-year-old joined the Reds in the summer for a fee of £72 million, leaving Serie A outfit Atalanta after showing lots of promise with 20 goals scored in 47 appearances.

Although Hojlund scored five goals in the Champions League, it took him a while to open his Premier League account. But a goal against Aston Villa on Boxing Day kicked started his goalscoring spree in the league.

Hojlund has scored five goals in his last five top flight outings and he is now looking to become the fourth United player to score in six successive Premier League appearances. If successful in his attempt to score against the Hatters, Hojlund will join a prestigious list that includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Eric Cantona.

Luton Town boss Rob Edwards says keeping Hojlund quiet will be a difficult task for his side this afternoon.

“He’s come with a big price tag to a big club and it must be difficult, but I think he’s handled himself really well,” Edwards said, as quoted by Luton Today. “He’s performing well and getting the goals now so he’s going to be a tough one to keep quiet on Sunday.”

United need a win against Luton to keep momentum building in the race for a top four finish. We need to take advantage of Tottenham dropping points on Saturday.
