Lyra Valkyria has hit a milestone in her career.

On Saturday, Valkyria posted on social media about her 10 year anniversary in the wrestling business. The Irish born Superstar who is now on WWE’s Raw brand, started her career training at Fight Factory Pro Wrestling. A school that was founded by Fergal Devitt (Finn Balor) in 2004 and has Becky Lynch as an alumni.

After spending about four to five years on the indies, Valkyria, known then as Aoife Valkyrie joined NXT UK. Once NXT UK closed its doors she would make it stateside and eventually win the NXT Women’s Championship from her idol Lynch. Since being drafted to Raw, Valkyria was in the finals of the Queen of the Ring Tournament losing to Nia Jax in Saudi Arabia.

Valkyria has now qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match which takes place on July 6. Also in the upcoming match is Naomi, Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green, and last year’s winner IYO SKY. One more woman will qualify on Monday and that will be either Zoey Stark, Dakota Kai, or Ivy Nile.

She says,

It all started 10 years ago today for me

It takes 10 years to become an overnight success…

but grabbing that Money in the Bank briefcase in Toronto next week will just take one perfect moment
