Lyra Valkyria shares her love for Celtic mythology.
Former NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria recently sat down with Ring The Belle. When asked about her ties to Celtic mythology with her costumes and entrances, Valkyria said that she’s very into it.
“I’m very into Celtic mythology,” Lyra Valkyria said. “There’s a character called the Morrigan; she’s an Irish goddess. Are you aware of the Valkyrie? She’s the Irish version of that. She takes the form of a raven or crow, hovers over the battlefield, and decides who’s going to win or lose the battle. So I take a lot of inspiration from that.”
Many fans believe that we’ll be seeing Valkyria on the WWE main roster sooner rather than later after dropping the championship to Roxanne Perez at NXT Stand and Deliver. Valkyria’s move to the main roster could take place as soon as this Monday night on RAW during night two of the 2024 WWE Draft.
