Madgaon Express Vs Swatantrya Veer Savarkar box office: Kunal Kemmu’s comedy beats Randeep Hooda’s historic drama

Last Friday, two Bollywood actors Kunal Kemmu and Randeep Hooda made their directorial debut with Madgaon Express and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar respectively. While one is a comedy flick, the other one is a biopic on Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. As both the films have clashed together at the box office, we got to see the winner of this race. Madgaon Express starring Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary is leading the box office race compared to Randeep Hooda starrer.

Since it was an extended opening weekend due to Holi, it worked beneficial for both the movies. Madgaon Express earned Rs 2.72 crore on day 4 whereas Swatantrya Veer Savarkar collected Rs 2.15 crore. Though there’s no huge margin between the two, Madgaon Express is leading as the movie’s total collection comes to Rs 9.88 crore. On the other hand, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’s total collection comes to Rs 8.25 crore at the Indian box office.
