EXCLUSIVE: Maggie Cahill has been tapped as Head of Creative for Bradley Gardner’s Busy B Entertainment.

In her new position, Cahill will help spearhead Busy B’s robust content slate, which includes the upcoming Netflix drama Pulse as well as the Hallmark series The Chicken Sisters.

“I’m thrilled to have Maggie join Busy B. Her work shows she has an eye for that Popcorn+ tone we value at the company,” Gardner said in a statement Monday. “Being able to identify and nurture projects that are both elevated and appeal to larger audiences is a unique skillset, and I’m excited to have her use that to help grow the company.”

Prior to joining Busy B, Cahill helped launch David Schulner’s Universal Television Studios based production company, Mount Moriah. She also previously spent three years at Parkes+MacDonald, developing series like My Lady Jane for Amazon Prime Video.

Cahill also spent five years at Alloy Entertainment, where she worked on such programming as Pretty Little Liars, The 100 and You.

Gardner, who previously served as the EVP of Orion Television, launched Busy B in 2023. He is currently under an overall deal with Netflix, through which he is producing Pulse, written by Carlton Cuse and Zoe Robyn.

Other Busy B projects include the one-hour animated series, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh, Rainbow Rowell’s Fangirl, and the Derek Kolstad drama Citizen.
