Man Down: Missing AEW Star Reportedly Dealing With A Knee Injury

Healing up. Injuries can be rather tricky, as you never know when you are going to see someone get hurt, but you can also see a wrestler’s injury status revealed long after they have been injured. It can explain what happened when someone was left on the shelf, especially if there was no explanation in the first place. That appears to be the case again with a missing AEW star.

Wardlow has not wrestled since March 13 and has not appeared on AEW television in months. According to Matt Taven in an interview with Stick To Wrestling, Wardlow is currently out of action with a knee injury. There is no word on when Wardlow was injured or when he will return to the ring. This comes amid reports that Wardlow is out of action simply because AEW is not using him.

Opinion: This does explain a few things, though I’m not sure how much of a difference it makes. Wardlow has been left on the sidelines multiple times now and there is only so much that can be done when he is around so infrequently. That doesn’t give me much of a reason to believe that Wardlow will be featured again when he is cleared to return to the ring, which is the bigger problem.
