Barcelona striker Vitor Roque has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has not been able to establish himself as a regular starter for the Spanish club since joining them at the turn of the year from Athletico Paranaense. The Spanish outfit would be willing to sell him permanently this summer and a report from UOL claims that they will demand €45 million for the attacker.

He has been linked with clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. It will be interesting to see if the Premier League clubs are willing to pay that kind of money for him.

The 19-year-old is highly rated in South America and he has a bright future ahead of himself. He is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the front three and clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea could use someone like him.

Man United and Chelsea need Vitor Roque

The Red Devils have been overly dependent on Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford in the attack. They need more depth in that department. Players like Antony have been largely underwhelming.

Roque could prove to be a quality long-term acquisition for the Red Devils. They have the financial resources to pay €45 million for him as well.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have been overly dependent on Cole Palmer for goals and the need to bring an upgrade on players like Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke.

The Brazilian seems like the ideal acquisition for them. The Blues have spent freely since the change of ownership and they have the financial resources to get the deal done as well.

A move to the Premier League could be an exciting opportunity for the young attacker, especially if they can promise him ample game time. It will be interesting to see where he ends up eventually.
