During the summer transfer window, Manchester United are reportedly going to take bids for both Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.

Due to Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s attempts to purchase 25% of the team and assume control of football operations, the Red Devils have gone through a time of uncertainty.

While that has been confirmed by the Red Devils, it is yet to be made official with the governing bodies, adding an extra complication for January’s transfer business.

Most of Man United’s transfer business will be done in the summer transfer window as the club aims to get rid of the deadwood, reduce the wage bill and add new additions to the squad.

Donny van de Beek, Jadon Sancho and Hannibal Mejbri have all recently left the club as Erik ten Hag’s team considers moving on players who are surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

From being out of favor at the Theatre of Dreams, Maguire turned around his United career this season and the English centre-back has started and finished most of the games for the club in the last two months until his form was disrupted by an injury in December.

Before the start of next season, United are reportedly willing to entertain any reasonable offers for the England international, according to ESPN.

Lindelof appears to be in a similar situation, especially considering that he hasn’t played since December 6, when United beat Chelsea.

According to the report, United are considering a defensive reorganisation at a moment when it is uncertain if Jonny Evans and Raphael Varane will be with the team beyond this season.

The club is rumored to have shortlisted Matthijs de Ligt of Bayern Munich, Jean-Clair Todibo of Nice, and Jarrad Branthwaite of Everton as possible replacements.
