Archie Brown has been linked with a return to England in recent weeks and Premier League clubs Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on the player.

Brown has been quite impressive for the Belgian club Gent, and it will be interesting to see if they are ready to sanction his departure in the summer. The English clubs have been watching the 22-year-old defender closely and they could look to make a move for him, as per TBR Football.

Brown has a contract with Gent until the summer of 2027, and he is likely to be an expensive acquisition. Gent will not want to lose the player for a reasonable amount of money, and they could easily demand a premium.

Chelsea need to improve their defensive unit in the coming months, and the 22-year-old would be a long-term investment for them. He could prove to be an upgrade on Ben Chilwell. The Blues have the financial muscle to tempt the Belgian club with the lucrative proposal and Brown could be attracted to the idea of joining one of the biggest clubs in England.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are keeping tabs on him as well and they need a long-term replacement for Luke Shaw, who has struggled with persistent injury problems. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United decide to make a move for the player in the coming months.

Archie Brown would be a future investment

Tottenham are keeping tabs on his development as well, and they could certainly use a quality young left-back like him. Ben Davies is in the twilight stage of his career and he will need to be replaced soon. Brown would be the ideal alternative.

All three clubs would be attractive destinations for the player and it remains to be seen where he ends up eventually.
