According to a report, Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr have identified Brazilian winger Antony as their “top target,” and Manchester United are prepared to let him leave the club this summer.

Following his massive £86 million transfer in the summer of 2022, Antony has had a lackluster tenure at Old Trafford and has been linked to a move away from Man United.

The Brazilian has struggled massively in the Premier League after he scored just one league goal last season in 29 appearances.

In the season before that, he scored just four league goals in 25 appearances for the club.

His move from Ajax excited the Man United fans since the player was shining under Erik ten Hag at the Dutch club but after seeing his performances closely, the fans as well as the club are open to the idea of him leaving this summer.

According to Football Insider, Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr want to sign the Man United star Antony this summer as they have failed in their pursuit of Barcelona winger Raphinha.

The Premier League giants are reportedly ready to let go of the 24-year-old, and the Saudi Pro League team wants to sign a winger this summer.

The Red Devils are set to make a huge loss on their heavy investment in the Brazilian winger.

Antony could be heading out of Man United this summer.

They signed him from Ajax in a big money move but now they are ready to let the player join the Saudi side in a loan move.

Some of the biggest names have joined the Saudi Pro League in recent years.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Karim Benzema, Roberto Firmino, N’Golo Kante and many more have taken the option to move to the Middle East.

The wages being provided by the Saudi clubs are too good to reject for some of the players and that has created a new market in the Middle East.

Antony has no future at Man United

The Saudi Pro League clubs are eyeing young players this summer and Antony fits the profile they are looking for.

The strategy adopted by the Saudi clubs has caused a headache to Man United though as their attempts to offload Casemiro to the Middle East have been affected.

The report mentions that Man United have told Antony to find a new club but he is facing difficulty in doing that since his performances have been disappointing.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Antony but it feels like his time at Man United is coming to an end soon.
