Manchester United are reportedly one of the clubs keen on appointing Edin Terzic as their next manager, as per reports via Fichajes.

The 41-year-old has done an impressive job with Borussia Dortmund this season and he has guided them to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United decide to make a move for him at the end of the season.

Erik ten Hag has not been able to get the best out of his quad so far and the Red Devils have had a disappointing season by their standards. They are set to miss out on UEFA Champions League qualification and for a club of their stature, it will be a major blow.

The Red Devils have backed Ten Hag significantly in the transfer market but his signings have failed to perform at a high level consistently. Perhaps a fresh start in the summer could be ideal for all parties and Terzic would be an interesting appointment.

Edin Terzic has been impressive for Dortmund

Dortmund are currently pushing for a place in the UEFA Champions League next season and it will be interesting to see if the 41-year-old can guide them into the top four by the end of the campaign.

They will also look to do well in the UEFA Champions League and book their place in the finals  with a win over Paris Saint-Germain over the two legs.

The opportunity to manage Manchester United could be an attractive option for the German manager next season and it will be interesting to see if they come forward with an official approach. Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world and the opportunity to join them can be hard to turn down.
