Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte wants to join Manchester United this summer and a deal is close to being finalised.
The Red Devils have chased the PSG midfielder all summer but a deal has been difficult to complete for him due to the French club’s demands.
For the second game in a row, PSG manager Luis Enrique has dropped the midfielder from his squad.
According to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Ugarte is waiting to travel to Manchester to complete his move to Man United.
The French club wants to sell the Uruguayan international in a permanent move but there is a huge chance of a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

Manuel Ugarte has been a top target for Man United.

As per L’Equipe, Ugarte is waiting to receive the green light from his agent Jorge Mendes to travel to England and complete the formalities of his transfer.
There is no doubt about the deal and the player will join the Premier League giants before the transfer deadline.
After strengthening the squad in attacking and defensive positions with the signings of Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui, the Red Devils were desperate to sign a new midfielder.
Man United need a new midfield addition this summer
With midfielders like Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen facing an uncertain future at the club, manager Erik ten Hag needed a new midfielder this summer.
The South American midfielder is expected to walk straight into the starting line up at the club.
The match against Brighton at the weekend might come a bit early for Ugarte but he could make his debut against Liverpool next week.
Man United, PSG and the player are all working towards completing the deal and it could be announced soon.
