Man United are reportedly willing to let Christian Eriksen leave in the summer transfer window.
After opting against signing for Brentford permanently in 2022, Eriksen, 32, arrived at Old Trafford on a free transfer in 2022.
Quickly becoming one of Erik Ten Hag’s most used players, the Danish playmaker found himself featuring heavily alongside the likes of Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes.

However, a wave of new signings, including Mason Mount from Chelsea last summer, as well as Scott McTominay’s emphatic goalscoring run, has seen the former Spurs star lose his place.

Spending the majority of the season on the bench, Eriksen has become little more than a bit-part rotational player, and according to a recent report from Football Insider, the Red Devils are now preparing for the 32-year-old’s exit.
With his contract set to expire at the end of next season, if United are to avoid losing him for free, this summer will be their only chance to secure a transfer fee.
Potential suitors have not been mentioned in these latest reports. Still, with his performances waining and his career undeniably in decline, it seems just a matter of time before the former Inter Milan midfielder moves on to a calmer and slower environment.
Since joining the Red Devils nearly two years ago, Eriksen, who has 128 senior international caps to his name, has directly contributed to 15 goals in 66 games in all competitions. He was part of the squad that lifted last season’s Carabao Cup.
