The adventure at Manchester United has come to an end for Erik ten Hag. After two years on the bench of the Red Devils, the Dutchman was dismissed due to poor results at the start of the season. Highly criticized in England, whether by the press or by supporters of the Mancunian club, the 47-year-old technician decided to send an open letter to Manchester United supporters, to thank them.

“Dear fans, Let me start by thanking you. Thank you for always being there for the club. Whether in a distant match or a difficult match at Old Trafford, your support has been unwavering (…) I want to thank you for giving me this feeling and supporting me. I would also like to thank the staff in all departments of the club for their unwavering support in good times and bad.”notably wrote the former Ajax coach, who will only keep the good from his Mancunian experience. Make way for Ruben Amorim now on the Red Devils bench.
