Free since the termination of his contract at Juventus, Paul Pogba (31) is preparing while waiting to return to competition next March. The Frenchman therefore works physically in order to be ready when he finds a new base. But this Monday, Daily Mailthrough the voice of former MU player, Louis Saha, tells us that La Pioche could train with the residents of Old Trafford before joining his next club.
“I have heard rumors that Paul Pogba will be offered the opportunity to return to train with Manchester United in the new year, and I think it would be a great opportunity for Paul. He needs to get back to his best as quickly as possible, and training with the best players will help him get there. I think he would be delighted to have the opportunity to come back to the club. I also think Paul Pogba is still a very special player. When we think of midfielders, Pogba has some unique qualities. I think the United team lacks power in midfield, and we are missing a skillful player who can play box to box, so he would be a good addition (to the Manchester United team, editor’s note) because he has a different player profile to that of United.” Then, Saha indicated that Pogba could make sacrifices to play again under the colors of MU. “When I look at Pogba, I think many teams would find it interesting to sign him as a free agent. Forget the salary, I’m sure Paul is willing to compromise on that as he wants to play football again after such a long time away. When I think of Pogba, there are more positives than negatives in his signing, and I think he is a player that Manchester United should be interested in in January. All major Premier League clubs should view Pogba’s free transfer as an incredible opportunity. That’s how I see it.” It remains to be seen whether Pogba and MU will also hear it that way.
