Jason Sancho is eager to leave Manchester United and join Paris Saint-Germain before the summer transfer window closes.
PSG are still keen to sign reinforcements in attack following Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid this summer with Sancho emerging as a top target.
The winger returned to the United first-team this summer, featuring throughout their pre-season campaign and in last Saturday’s Community Shield clash with Manchester City where he missed from 12 yards in a penalty shootout.
Sancho was exiled from the squad a year ago after publicly challenging Erik ten Hag who questioned his efforts in training. Having refused to apologise, he was banished from the first-team, rejoining Borussia Dortmund on loan in January.
Sancho and ten Hag appear to have now buried the hatchet but the possibility of a move to the French capital has turned the winger’s head.
RMC Sport report Sancho is eager to join PSG with the club already making initial contact with his representatives.
A move is still some way off however with United demanding €60million (£51.4m) for the 24-year-old.
United and PSG have also held talks this summer over a move for Manuel Ugarte, who is eager to make a move to Old Trafford.
Ten Hag wants the club to bring in a new central midfielder with the Uruguay international identified as a top target but so far PSG have held firm in their valuation.
The French champions are holding out for £60m for the player they signed one year ago with United unwilling to meet that number, now considering other options.
Ugarte has been left out of training matches by head coach Luis Enrique, according to reports in France, with RMC reporting negotiations with United are likely to continue in the final weeks of the summer transfer window.
United have signed four new players this summer with Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro initially arriving from Bologna and Lille respectively.
On Tuesday, the club confirmed the arrivals of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui in a double transfer worth just under £60million.
