Loaned by Manchester City to FC Barcelona during the 2023-2024 season, João Cancelo was not kept by the Catalan club… and will not be retained by the Cityzens. Pep Guardiola, with whom the understanding has not been at its best for years, is not counting on the Portuguese for the coming season. To finally get rid of him, the English champions would have lowered their demands, asking for 20 million euros for the Portuguese, instead of 30, according to Sport.
