João Cancelo and FC Barcelona want to extend their adventure together. Loaned this season by Manchester City, the Catalans want to loan the Portuguese again for next season. However, the English club refuses, preferring a permanent transfer and demanding 25 million pounds sterling (nearly 30 million euros) for its full-back. In financial difficulty, Barça cannot go crazy on the transfer window and the purchase of João Cancelo seems compromised, especially since the Sky Blues are not determined to lower his price.

According to The SunManchester City are even ready to reintegrate João Cancelo into the group. The 30-year-old player, still under contract until 2027 in the north of England, will have to go on a pre-season tour if nothing changes by then. As a reminder, the player has not played with the Sky Blues for 18 months after a dispute with Pep Guardiola.
