Crowned English champions for the fourth season in a row, Manchester City was neck and neck with Arsenal until the last match of the season. According to Rodri, the Skyblues defensive midfielder, everything was in the head, particularly during the confrontation between the two teams on March 31. The 27-year-old told the media that the Gunners lacked ambition by moving to the Etihad Stadium.

“They had an incredible season, but the difference was in our heads. When they came to face us here at the Etihad, I saw them. These guys, they don’t want to beat us, they just want to draw.”Rodri first noted. “We are taking matters into our own hands and, in the end, if you give us a point, we will win the last seven or eight games, even though we know how difficult it is. So I think the difference lies in mentality”added the Manchester City metronome.
