Manchester City sanctioned by the Premier League

Manchester City was sanctioned on Wednesday by the English Football League. According to The TelegraphTHE Cityzens have been fined just over two million pounds, or €2.7 million, for delaying the start of 22 separate Premier League matches. The Manchester club has accepted the penalty.

The Premier League and Manchester City FC have reached a sanction agreement after the club admitted breaching Premier League Rule L.33 relating to kick-off and restart requirements.
