Manchester City can’t wait any longer. Pep Guardiola is at the end of his contract in June 2025 with the Skyblues, but has still not given his decision concerning his future. Will stay or not stay, for now, only the Spanish technician knows. Hugo Viana, who will be the club’s new sporting director this summer with the departure of Txiki Begiristain, would however like to know fairly quickly whether he will be able to count on the former Barça coach or not.

According to Relevoif no pressure is put on Guardiola, the deadlines would now be very short and the Catalan should make his decision around the Christmas period, if possible before ‘boxing day’ in the Premier League. For the moment, there is no time for negotiations for the Cityzens and the 53-year-old coach. With four consecutive defeats, Manchester City faces a situation never before experienced since the arrival of the native of Santpedor, who will have to urgently raise the bar.
