Everton will have to fight off interest from Manchester United and Tottenham for Jarrad Branthwaite this summer according to reports.
The 21-year-old has been in good form for the Toffees this season and earned a first call up to the England squad, but will no doubt be disappointed not to make his debut.
Branthwaite has made 39 appearances for Everton this campaign, with 33 of those coming in the Premier League and has scored three goals.
United and Spurs to battle it out for Branthwaite?
United and Spurs are believed to both be in the market for a centre back this summer as they look to strengthen their backlines.
The Evening Standard have reported that Branthwaite is on the defensive shortlist of both clubs which also includes Jean-Clair Todibo and Marc Guehi.
Branthwaite is attracting interest from Manchester United and Tottenham.There’s expected to be a lot of activity at Old Trafford this summer, and the reports adds that the Red Devils are expected to sell two of Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire.
Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has openly talked of wanting to sign another centre back this summer despite already signing Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin in his first season.
Branthwaite is under contract at Goodison Park until 2027, and it’s believed Everton won’t welcome any offers for the defender.
The report adds that Branthwaite would be open to a move as he looks to make the next step in his career, and has a price tag of around £80m.

However, uncertainty surrounds the club, and Everton may be forced to sell some of their star players, which includes Branthwaite if the proposed takeover by 777 Partners falls through.
The Premier League are currently carrying out their due diligence on the firm , but It’s believed that club officials are optimistic of the deal going through.
