Manchester United have finally revealed what squad number Joshua Zirkzee will be wearing.
The Dutch striker will wear the no.11 shirt this season.
The former Bayern Munich and Bologna forward is one of two summer signings so far this window, but we’ve yet to see him play for the club after missing pre-season. There is a chance Zirkzee could feature in Saturday’s Community Shield.
Zirkzee’s squad number has been announced in time for the game against rivals Man City, as per ManUtd.com.
Rasmus Hojlund previously wore the no.11 shirt before switching to no.9 earlier this summer, following the departure of Anthony Martial.
United legend Ryan Giggs wore the no.11 shirt for over 20 years during his time under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Moreover, Zirkzee wore no.11 at Bologna before getting the no.9 shirt.
