Manchester United’s management and staff no longer intend to part ways with their international striker, Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has claimed that Jadon Sancho will play a big role this season, suggesting that a move away from the former Dortmund man is now completely out of the question.

Ten Hag counts on Sancho

“If we don’t have Rasmus (Hojlund) available, Jadon Sancho is certainly an option as a centre-forward,” said the Dutch coach after the tour in the United States. With these words, the manager of the Red Devils shows that he counts on his player. An outing that must challenge PSG, since the French club had been interested in the English international at the beginning of the summer.

“But Zirkzee will also be added, continued Ten Hag. He has started training, but we must not forget that he has not trained for a long time. It will take time. He has to adapt to English football and the way we play.”

Ten Hag also indicated that Marcus Rashford is not really a true nine. “Marcus has done it before and he’s capable of it, but I think he’s most productive on the left. Starting on the wing and then coming in through the middle, that’s his strength.”
