Manchester United will reportedly attempt to sign Juventus defender Gleison Bremer in the summer.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio via Sky Sport, as cited by JuventusNews24, the Reds have closely monitored the Brazilian and will look to present an offer for his signature at the end of the season.
Bremer, 26, joined Juventus in the summer of 2022 following an impressive spell with their rivals Torino. He was crowned Serie A Defender of the Season before he left for Juve.
The centre-back has been a key player this season and that likely means we’ll face a battle – from Juve or other interested clubs – to prise him away from Turin.
Di Marzio is unsure whether or not Juventus would entertain an offer for Bremer.
Meanwhile, every man and his dog knows that United will be looking for new defenders in the summer.
The club will draw up a list of targets and it’s going to be a long one if you believe everything the media is saying about United’s plans.
After establishing his status as arguably the finest defender in Italian football right now, Bremer could make a big move to the Premier League later this year. Reports suggest United are sniffing around the player but only time will tell if they will make a formal offer.
