Manchester United are reportedly considering an approach to sign Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams next summer.
Nico Williams was a key player for the Spain side that won the Euros this summer with the young winger attracting interest from top European clubs.
Barcelona remained keen on signing the young winger this summer but the 22-year-old remained in Bilbao for the coming season.
Last season, Williams contributed 17 goals for Bilbao, scoring six goals with 11 assists.

The Red Devils are reportedly keen on Nico Williams and are willing to challenge Spanish giants Barcelona for his signature.
That is according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, who states that Manchester United “The competition for his signing has intensified with the entry of Manchester United into the race.
“This led to his buyout clause at Athletic being one of the most watched, especially now that clubs like Barcelona and Manchester United are willing to make a considerable financial effort to secure his services.
“The English, in need of a player with Williams’ characteristics, are willing to go all out and make an offer that could outbid the Blaugranas in the bidding war.
“Nico Williams’ future seems increasingly distant from Bilbao. Everything points to his next destination being one of the giants of Europe, and the battle between Barcelona and Manchester United for his signing has only just begun.”
