The governing body of African football has announced the nominees for the various categories for the CAF Awards 2024, with Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana in the running for one of the accolades.
Onana, 28, has already enjoyed a decent start to the season on an individual note with strong performances between the sticks for United.
The Cameroon international has kept an impressive record of 8 clean sheets while conceding only 15 goals.
For his efforts in a United shirt, Onana was named Player of the Month at the club in September. He has grown in confidence after a rocky start to life in Manchester, especially after his form picked up following the AFCON earlier this year.
Onana also picked up the Premier League Save of the Month in September.
In the CAF Awards 2024, Onana has been nominated for the Best Goalkeeper award.

Erik ten Hag’s first choice stopper make an incredible double save against Fenerbahce in United’s 1-1 draw on Thursday night.
The result would have been worse if it wasn’t for Onana.
