This is surely one of the worst seasons in the history of Manchester United. In great difficulty in the first part of the season with Erik Ten Hag, the Mancunian club decided to call Ruben Amorim at La Récousse last November. Author of impressive results with Sporting Portugal, the Portuguese coach had to breathe fresh air in the north of England and replace the Red Devils in the race for European places. Finally, nothing went as planned. Eliminated from the two cuts fairly quickly on the other side of the Channel, the residents of Old Trafford chained the bad results in the Premier League.

At a time when these lines are written, United is coming to an unworthy 13th place in the ranking and said goodbye to its dreams of European place at the end of the season. The Mancunian salvation will surely come from the Europa League. Qualified in the quarter -finals, the most successful club in England will face OL in a double confrontation which is already burning. As a reminder, in the event of a coronation in C3, United will be automatically qualified for the next Champions League campaign.

Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyökeres and Hugo Ekitike are targeted by Manchester United

Regardless of the outcome of the season, Manchester United is already preparing for a great upheaval this summer. Indeed, while Ruben Amorim demanded major changes in his workforce for next season, the 40 -year -old coach wishes in particular a significant improvement in his workforce among attackers. Faced with the yields deemed insufficient by Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, the goalscorer's position will be particularly targeted by the Recruitment Unit for Old Trafford residents. And according to joint information from the English and German press, four names stand out.

Linked to Ruben Amorim since their joint and fruitful adventure at Sporting CP, Viktor Gyökeres would be the first target of Mancunian leaders. While it could cost between 65 and 75 million euros to United, Gyökeres already has a tacit agreement with Sporting to leave Lisbon this summer. And if it is erected in priority by English leaders, the latter have taken information on three other tracks which lead to Benjamin Sesko (Leipzig), Hugo Ekitiké (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Victor Osimhen (Naples, loaned to Galatasaray). Four attractive names that could really revitalize an attack by Manchester United amorphous for several years now.
