The management of MU knows which player it intends to bet on if Raphael Varane were to leave its squad soon.
Raphael Varane is not sure he will have a third season at Manchester United. The Frenchman could be replaced by a former lieutenant of Erik Ten Hag, in the person of Matthijs De Ligt.
Ten Hag wants his former player to replace Varane
Bayern Munich are ready to part ways with the Dutch international. The latter hardly plays at the Allianz Arena anymore, since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel at the technical helm. Manchester United therefore hopes to take advantage of this by attracting the former Ajax player to their squad.
Sky Germany claims Bayern are open to De Ligt leaving this summer, provided they secure the central defender recruitment they want. The German giants have their sights set on Barcelona defender Ronald Araújo.
Bayern are willing to pay big money for Araújo – and if that happens, De Ligt will therefore be allowed to find a new club.
