Manchester United are keeping tabs on Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams.

According to Spanish news outlet Sport, as cited by TEAMtalk, United are among Premier League suitors for Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams.

The 21-year-old Spaniard, who is a product of Bilbao’s academy, is said to be attracting interest from United, Chelsea and Liverpool. It is suggested that all clubs are ‘keeping tabs’ on his performances.

Nico was heavily linked with a move to Aston Villa in the summer, although a transfer never materialised. He could be on the verge of joining one of the Premier League’s bigger clubs instead.

The report states Nico’s preference is to stay in Spain.

Bilbao fans don’t take too kindly when stars leave because it’s a club that is considered home to many. He has made 30 appearances for Bilbao this season, scoring six goals and registering 14 assists.

It wouldn’t be a bad bit of business to get done if Williams could be got at £40m. He’s 21-year-old is exactly what we could do with having on the right if Garnacho was played on the left. A lot will depend on the future of Marcus Rashford at the end of the season but I suspect he will stay.

Antony still has a lot to prove after two seasons at the club and it remains to be seen if United will look to cash in on him in the summer.
