Manchester United Legends XI vs Celtic: Rooney & Berbatov start

Manchester United Legends take on Celtic Legends at Old Trafford this afternoon, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm.

The Reds have pulled together a squad of star-studded names that includes the likes of Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Carrick, Antonio Valencia and Paul Scholes.

Bryan Robson will be the one in charge of United on the touchline or sat in the dugout. The former midfielder has named his starting eleven as follows: Van der Gouw, Bardsley, Johnsen, Silvestre, Simpson; Djemba-Djemba, Carrick, Fletcher; Valencia, Berbatov, Rooney.

This is a fantastic opportunity for fans to watch their heroes from yesteryear.

Former Aston Villa and Norwich City manager Paul Lambert will take charge of Celtic Legends.

All proceeds from the match will go to the Manchester United Foundation.
