Hannibal Mejbri has reportedly completed a medical at Burnley, with the transfer expected to be announced by the Clarets today.

The Tunisia international is one of several players expected to leave Old Trafford ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.

Transfer expect Fabrizio Romano claims Hannibal has completed his medical at Burnley. It will be a permanent move for the academy graduate and the deal includes a sell-on clause.

Hannibal is not part of Erik ten Hag’s plans and after an underwhelming loan spell at Sevilla last season, it doesn’t come as a surprise that he will be sold.

The 21-year-old joined United in 2019 and since then he has had loan spells with Birmingham City and Sevilla. He featured during pre-season but has not been involved in either of United’s opening two Premier League games.

Another midfielder likely to leave is Scott McTominay, who was already clear of Hannibal in the pecking order at United.
