A number of Manchester United players have uncertain futures at the club as INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe look set to oversee a widespread overhaul of the squad this summer.

It remains to be seen whether Erik ten Hag, who lifted his second trophy in two seasons at the club earlier this weekend, is part of that overhaul.

Regardless of who the manager is, it is clear that strengthening the midfield will be one of the club’s highest priorities this summer.

Sofyan Amrabat will return to Fiorentina as United will decide against exercising the clause to sign him permanently and there are question marks over the futures of both Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay.

Additionally, Casemiro has experienced a troublesome second year at the club and there are doubts over whether he truly is part of the club’s plans going forward.

Now, there are reports linking the five-time Champions League winner with a move to Saudia Arabian giants Al-Nassr, who signed Cristiano Ronaldo shortly after his contract was terminated at Old Trafford. Alex Telles also joined the Saudi club soon after.

According to Spanish outlet Relevo, Casemiro is yet to make a final decision on his future but the idea of joining the Saudi Pro League is playing on his mind.

As per the report, Casemiro has clearly communicated to his representatives that should the next step in his career be taken, it would be to make the move to Saudi Arabia.

It’s reported that Casemiro will wait to learn more about his role at United before making a final decision as the former Real Madrid star is currently unhappy. Al-Nassr would not hesitate to offer a substantial amount to sign Casemiro.
