Manchester United have rejected an offer from Inter Milan for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
According to The Sun, Inter have offered Dutch wing-back Denzel Dumfries in a swap deal but United are not interested.
Wan-Bissaka, 26, has made 10 starts for Erik ten Hag this season despite missing over a month with injury. He is still seen as an important member of the squad but that could change as soon as United identify a new right-back.
As things stand, Diogo Dalot is the preferred right-back and this summer’s transfer window will present an opportunity to cash in on Wan-Bissaka before his contract expires in 2025.
Dumfries, who was offered to United by Inter, has made 18 appearances for the Serie A leaders this term. The 27-year-old is renowned for being an attack-minded right-back with questionable defensive abilities.
Like Wan-Bissaka, Dumfries’s current deal expires in 2025.
The report claims the Netherlands international is involved in a contract stand-off with the Nerazzurri. Dumfries reportedly wants £80,000-a-week but Inter are only offered approximately £35,000-a-week.
