Manchester United made official on Wednesday the departure of Facundo Pellistri to Panathinaikos. The 22-year-old Uruguayan winger had accumulated loans in recent seasons, first to Alavés, then to Granada. The English club will recover around 6 million euros in the operation, and should keep a buyout option for three years, in addition to a capital gain on resale of 45%.

A creative spark with a tireless work rate. We wish you good luck on your departure, Facundo“, Manchester United said on its social networks. Having arrived from Penarol in 2020, Pellistri will have only played 13 Premier League matches with the Red Devils.
