Reports suggest Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Torino wing-back Raoul Bellanova.
The Italian defender has been one of the most in-form Serie A players this season, with the right wing-back providing three assists and one goal in his last six league appearances.
That is an impressive return for a 23-year-old and it sounds like he is attracting attention from the Premier League.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Manchester United and Aston Villa have sent scouts to watch Bellanova ‘multiple times’ this season.
The report suggests United are planning to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer and that means we’ll need cover – at the very least – at right-back.
Bellanova has been at Torino since last summer following a €7m transfer from Cagliari, although he has yet to make his senior Italy debut. His current deal with Torino expires in June 2027.
Manchester United need competition for Diogo Dalot
If Wan-Bissaka leaves in the summer, which is likely, that will leave United with just one recognised right-back. A conversation needs to be had over whether we sign a top right-back or a young option, with the ability to become a top player.
Dalot is slowing growing into the role and appears to be enjoying his football under Ten Hag.
Let us know in the comments section which right-back you would sign in the summer.
