Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is reportedly set to be one of the names considered by Paris Saint-Germain when it comes to replacing Kylian Mbappe this summer.
The France international recently decided to quit the Parc des Princes at the end of this season, with his contract due to expire in just a few months.
According to the Times, PSG will now look at big names like Rashford and also Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as targets to replace Mbappe, with the Ligue 1 giants also having held talks with Rashford back in 2022.
The England international ended up staying at Man Utd on that occasion, but it will be interesting to see what happens with him this year as he’s not had the happies of seasons at Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford is on PSG’s radar again
Rashford’s form has gone downhill since his first campaign under Erik ten Hag, and he’s also had some disciplinary issues.
This could surely mean Rashford’s position at United isn’t as safe as it once was, and it could be that PSG would have a chance of snapping him up if they came up with the right kind of offer.
Even if Rashford hasn’t quite been at his best recently, when he is on form he is just the kind of player who could replace Mbappe on the left-hand side of the PSG attack.
