Lille defender Leny Yoro is attracting lots of interest with just one year remaining on his contract. An array of big clubs, including Manchester United, are being linked with the France youth international.

Yoro, 18, is a young French player that many expect to be in high demand this summer. It’s no wonder United are being linked with a move because it is clear that the squad requires better defenders and a clear out of those that don’t meet the required standards.

The centre-back has been the subject of enquiries from United, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-German, as per RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins.

This season Yoro has become indispensable at the heart of Lille’s defence. There is hope at the club that he will agree to fresh terms after being offered an extension. However, RMC Sport now report that the Frenchman is unlikely to accept the offer.

Yoro is represented by Jorge Mendes.
