This is chilling news for Manchester United’s 1,100 employees. According to information from Daily Mailthe English club is preparing to make very big cuts in its wage bill after having carried out several financial audits. 250 employees risk losing their jobs following the takeover of the Red Devils by INEOS this winter.

This saving, estimated at several tens of millions of euros, should be directly injected into the men’s first team. MU is the Premier League club with the largest number of employees, far ahead of others such as Liverpool (1,005 employees) or Chelsea (788), Tottenham (719), Arsenal (649) and Manchester City (520).
