Manchester United have reportedly been told that Juventus would ‘hardly say no’ to a decent offer for Brazilian centre-back Gleison Bremer in this summer’s transfer window.

The Red Devils are known admirers of the 27-year-old, who has shone in Serie A and who looks like he could be a hit in the Premier League as well if he ever ends up moving to English football.

Bremer looks like he’d surely be an upgrade on Man Utd’s current options at the back, with Erik ten Hag struggling this season due to the inconsistent form of players like Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof, while the injuries to Lisandro Martinez have also been a big problem.

Bremer is seemingly available now, according to reports in Italy, so MUFC should surely step up their interest and make Juve an offer that they would find too good to turn down.

Bremer transfer: How much could Man United target cost?

It’s not yet entirely clear how much Juventus would want for Bremer, but there have been murmurings that he could be on the market for anywhere between €55-70m this summer.

That seems like the kind of money a club like United should surely be expecting to pay for top players, so if they can get Bremer in without spending an absolute fortune, it could end up being great business.

The report adds that Juventus could be ready to sell players this summer in order to raise funds to land some of their transfer targets, including Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners.

United, meanwhile, are also being linked with top attacking players like Michael Olise, while midfielders also make sense as a priority after the poor form of Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and unconvincing loan signing Sofyan Amrabat, who is surely returning to Fiorentina.
