The 23rd day of the Premier League continues with Manchester United welcoming West Ham to Old Trafford (Kick-off 3 p.m., match to follow on FM). Undefeated in 2024 (three wins and a draw), the Red Devils are coming off a success at the end of added time in Wolverhampton (4-3) on Thursday, but only occupy 8th place with 35 pts. On the other hand, the Hammers, with three draws in a row in the league, occupy a good sixth place with 36 points.

For this meeting, Erik Ten Hag has three absentees (Malacia, Martial and Mount) and confirms, with one exception, the victorious eleven on Thursday at Wolves. The only change concerns Varane who is replaced by Maguire in central defense with Martinez. The young Mainoo is returned to the middle with Casemiro while Hojlund will be supported by Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Garnacho. Hammers side, change of system after the draw against Bournemouth (1-1). Moyes opts for 3-4-2-1 with Johnson, Aguerd and Zouma behind. Coufal and Emerson will occupy the role of pistons with Soucek and Alvarez in the midfield. Up front, Bowen will be supported by Kudus and Ward-Prowse.

The official compositions:

Manchester United : Onana – Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw – Mainoo, Casemiro – Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford – Hojlund.

West Ham: Areola – Johnson, Aguerd, Zouma – Coufal, Soucek, Alvarez, Emerson – Kudus, Ward-Prowse – Bowen.
