Erik ten Hag has named his Manchester United starting line-up to face Brentford this afternoon.

The players started to arrive at Old Trafford this afternoon as they were photographed entered the tunnel.

They will be targeting a return to winning ways when they face Brentford in the 3pm kick-off, after signing off for the international break with a scoreless draw against Aston Villa.

United will need to be a lot better today, especially in front of goal. They also need to be wary of Brentford’s threat in the final third. Thomas Frank side have a tendency for taking early leads in games this season so it won’t work if our players start the game asleep as we’ve seen at times this season.

The back four consists of Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt, Jonny Evans and Lisandro Martinez. We can expect to see the Argentine play at left-back with Evans coming in to partner De Ligt. There’s a positive in that Dalot returns to his preferred side.

Casemiro starts in midfield with Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes, while the roles on the flanks are taken by Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford.

Rasmus Hojlund has been tasked with leading the line ahead of Joshua Zirkzee.

Bench: Bayindir, Lindelof, Mazraoui, Ugarte, J. Fletcher, Amad, Antony, Zirkzee, Wheatley.
