Mandy Rose was released from her WWE contract due to the NSFW content she posted behind her premium content paywall. Unsurprisingly, quite few fans were upset over this and even called out WWE’s double standards. Nevertheless, Mandy Rose has grown a lot since then but it appears she plans on retiring from bodybuilding competition after her upcoming appearance.
The 33-year-old athlete enjoyed notable success in bodybuilding before her WWE career. She clinched victory in the 2013 WBFF Boston competition and followed it up with a win in the WBFF Diva Bikini Pro World Championship the next year. Recently, the former NXT Women’s Champion revealed her intention to make return to bodybuilding competitions after a significant hiatus.
While speaking on the Power Alphas podcast, Rose, who is set to tie the knot with Tino Sabbatelli later this year, disclosed her plans to potentially retire from bodybuilding competitions after the upcoming event. She expressed her desire to shift focus towards starting a family with her fiancé.
“I’m doing another bodybuilding show, which will probably be my last. Win that sh*t, hopefully, and then, you know, I’ll be 34 in July so I feel like, you know, my clock is ticking, so if we wanna have children, we have to get on that kinda fairly soon.”
While Mandy Rose hasn’t closed the door on returning to pro wrestling, she isn’t really sure about anything related to the industry right now. Regardless, Rose is clearly more focused on her upcoming bodybuilding competition, so we’ll have to see how that turns out.
