Mansoor once accidentally ruined the magic of wrestling.

Mason Madden shared a clip from a Twitch stream in which Mansoor told a funny story about his time in WWE. He noted that he was part of a group who was sent to meet the prince’s son at WWE Crown Jewel in 2019, and he accidentally told the kid that wrestling was fake.

“I go to out there, I have the match with Claudio, probably the best match of my career, went off amazingly,” Mansoor said. “After the match, I get called, they said, ‘Hey, you, Rey Mysterio, and Cain Velasquez are gonna get on a golf cart and drive over to meet the prince’s son.’ Oh shit. Okay, so we get on a golf cart, we drive over. We go up an elevator into the viewing box of the show, and a bunch of kids run up to us. I’ll never forget this because this is why I had to take f*cking Arabic lessons, okay?

“Some kid comes up to me and god forbid, Allah forbid that this was the Prince’s son. He comes up to me and he looks up at me and says, ‘‘Mansoor [speaks Arabic].’ Basically, what he was asking me is, ‘Is wrestling real or fake?’ So I say, ‘[Speaks Arabic].’ He looks at me and says, ‘[Repeats the word in Arabic]. I say, ‘[Repeats the word in Arabic]. I walk away. We go down the elevator. As we’re going down each floor, I got Rey Mysterio on my left and Cain Velasquez on my right. I go, ‘F*ck, I mixed up the words’ [laughs]. I told him it was fake.”
